Rabid Rotters |
A forest near the town of Roarton where they would frequently find rabid rotters hanging around. There is also a Cave somewhere in the forest where Kieren Walker's body was found by his father, Steve Walker, when Kieren killed himself.[1]

As Gary has been put on a unofficial patrol by Maxine Martin he takes Jem with him, giving her a gun they both hear something. Jem chases after the sound and loses Gary along the way.
After reaching the source of the sound she sees what she thinks may be a rabid and shoots, however up close finds that it was in fact Henry Lonsdale. A PDS sufferer who attended Roarton Valley High School with her.
